Natural Cork Floating Floor - Classic Series
The Natural Cork Floating Floor System is comprised of 1' x
3' (nominal) planks consisting of three layers. The
surface layer is 100% high density cork, with 5 coats of
UV-cured acrylic finish which contains no volatile organic
compounds. The middle layer with pre-cut tongue and groove
featuring CLIC technology is a waterproof exterior-grade
fiberboard. The base layer of attached cork underlayment
provides significant acoustic insulation. |

- Cork is less expensive per square foot than some hardwood floors and is priced similarly per square foot to tile and slate.
Environmental Benefits
Cork is a natural product that is sustainable harvested from the
bark of the cork oak tree in Spain and Portugal. The outer
casing of the tree can be harvested every 9 years without harm
to the Cork Oak. Cork Oak trees are known to live well
over a hundred years. This natural floor product offers a sustainable
alternative to hardwood lumber flooring products.
