Our Commitment to Zero Waste
Eco-Products stands firmly by our mission to “complete the recycling loop.”  Not only do we sell products made from recycled content or that can be returned to nature through composting, but Eco-Products’ main office is a zero waste facility.  That means that we compost or recycle all waste produced at our facility.  In addition, we allow our customers to drop off their compostables if they don’t have access to a compost facility.  Examples of items that we compost include all food waste, PLA packaging scraps, food service ware, the waxed backing of UPS labels, and more.  Examples of items that we recycle include pallet wrap, scrap wood, scrap metal, printer cartridges, paper, commingled containers, cardboard, and more. 

Our Commitment to Zero Energy Consumption
Eco-Products has installed one of the largest solar systems in Boulder County on our main office and distribution center.  As a result, Eco-Products is nearly energy self-sufficient obtaining over 85% of our electricity from the sun.  In fact, the size our solar system will allow us to put electricity back into the grid at certain times.  That will make Eco-Products a nearly zero energy consumption company!

Our Commitment to Zero Emissions
Eco-Products offsets the greenhouse gases emitted during the transportation of our products by investing in projects that prevent the same amount of greenhouse gases from entering the environment.  We believe that our products should have a minimal impact on the environment, and to do this, we’ve made a commitment to offset our product emissions.  In addition, Eco-Products’ fleet of trucks run either on clean-burning natural gas (compact natural gas) that has minimal emissions output, or bio-diesel.  By doing this, we’ve saved thousands of gallons of gasoline and reduced the amount of pollution created by our trucks.
