We offer two great
alternatives to plastic bags made from virgin
petroleum. Our first option is the Compostable
Trash Bags (also known as BioBags).
BioBag is the world’s largest brand of 100%
biodegradable and 100% compostable bags and films
made from the material, Mater-Bi. All of the
bags contain GMO free starch, biodegradable polymer
and other renewable resources. No polyethylene
is used in the production process. The other trash bag option is Recycled Content
Plastic Bags. These bags consist of at least
30-50%+ recycled plastic content. No matter
what your choice, you can feel good using one of the
strong, durable "plastic" bags below for all your
janitorial needs.
Compostable Plastic Bags
Compostable Plastic bags are a better alternative to
petroleum-based.
We carry two different trash can liners. Each type of liner has its own environmental benefits far and above the trash liners offered in a grocery store or janitorial supply company. In addition, our bags can hold as much or more of your unrecyclable discarded waste. Our low-density and high-density trash liners contain over 50% recycled polyethylene, which contains a mixture of mill scrap and post-consumer waste. The availability of post-consumer
plastic determines how much will go into the bag, although there is at least 30% post-consumer
waste in each bag. Our high-density trash liners have an
additional environmental benefit. High-density liners are made
with scientifically advanced high-density molecules, which reduce
liner bulk by 1/3 to 1/2,. while maintaining a very strong bag.
This in turn reduces the landfill bulk.
