PZWs Connect the Dots between Products, Purchasing, Operations, and Waste Diversion

From small coffee shops, to universities, to large sports venues, and multi-day festivals, our Product & Zero Waste Specialist team uses a combination of local relationships and industry expertise to assist our customers with diverting as much of their waste as possible.

This dynamic team comes to Eco-Products with backgrounds in the composting and hauling, foodservice, sustainability, and local government worlds, with deep connections to the regions where they operate. They are masters of tracking and explaining legislation and policy to small business owners and large distributors alike.

Creative thinking is their forte when it comes to implementing solutions from procurement through the waste collection processes to help Eco-Products customers get as close to zero waste as possible.

Waste diversion of compostables can appear to be a complex process, but our Product & Zero Waste Specialists make it look seamless.

By continuously building on their relationships with composters and waste haulers, the PZW team is always alert to issues of contamination and work with our customers on how to mitigate the simple act of just being a human, standing in front of multiple waste sorting bins trying to make the right decision.

The PZW team knows that someone on a ski vacation at Vail or enjoying live music at Bonnaroo doesn’t have waste sorting on the brain. So they work with these venues, our Sales team, and distributors to make sure the right products that are accepted by a composter are selected, develop clear and easy to interpret signage, and advise on front and back of house sorting solutions.

Getting a nice clean stream to our partner composters to make beautiful compost that can be used to grow our food is the ultimate goal of the PZW team and informs every decision they make.

The Product & Zero Waste Specialist team is truly the secret sauce behind “Putting Waste to Work”!

If you’re just opening a business and looking to implement zero waste strategies from Day 1, or an NFL stadium with a history dating back to leather helmets, contact our PZW team. They will call on their passion and expertise to find a right sized solution that works for you.
