BOULDER, Colo. (November 8, 2011) – Eco-Products®, the nation’s leading brand of foodservice products made from renewable resources and recycled content, is proud to announce two exciting additions to the company. Christopher Shepardson joins as a new member of the Board of Directors, while Todd Elmers signs on as Business Development Manager for Office Products.

Mr. Shepardson currently leads the foodservice business unit for Inno-Pak LLC, supplier of innovative packaging solutions to the grocery and foodservice industry. He is the former Vice President of Sourcing and Merchandising for Sysco Corporation, a leading marketer and distributor to the foodservice industry.

“Chris’s foodservice, global sourcing, and leadership experience will bring unique perspective and insight to our Board of Directors,” said Mike Hastings, CEO of Eco-Products. “This addition provides Eco-Products with the experience required to address the opportunities and challenges present in today’s dynamic foodservice environment.”

Mr. Elmers comes to Eco-Products with 25 years of experience in the office products channel, including 8 years at Corporate Express where he was Senior Vice President of Merchandising and Furniture for the Broomfield-based company. Corporate Express was acquired by office products giant Staples, Inc in 2008.

“I am thrilled to welcome Todd to the Eco-Products family,” said Rich Mills, Vice President of Sales for Eco-Products. “His sales and merchandising experience will help us gain further traction in a channel where our products are becoming increasingly popular.”
